Veneer Cases for Tooth Shape and Size Issues After Orthodontic Treatment

A great many patients come in for veneer treatment after orthodontic treatment.

There are various cases,

and among them, let's look at cases where veneers are done because of problems with tooth shape and size.

This continues from a post I put up before.

Among the contents of that post,

I'll continue explaining the part that falls under the first item.

When you get orthodontic treatment,

you can significantly reduce how much the teeth need to be cut down.

That said, depending on the case, some reduction may still be needed to the extent that favors veneer fabrication.

In the case above, no anesthesia was needed,

and the reduction was minimal enough that no temporary teeth were needed either.

The veneers were fabricated by hand.

Natural, beautiful veneers were made.

Artificial, unnatural-looking veneer treatment is, in most cases, made using methods meant to produce results cheaply, quickly, and in bulk.

In a case with a peg-shaped (undersized) tooth,

through no-prep veneers,

improving the size and shape of the teeth

is one of the most common treatments done after orthodontic treatment.

Many people also get orthodontic treatment because of peg-shaped teeth,

so no-prep veneers after orthodontic treatment can become an essential step in cases like this.

The tooth next to the front tooth is called the lateral incisor,

and veneer treatment has been done on both lateral incisors.

Looking at it this way, it's hard to tell which tooth is the veneer and which is the natural tooth.

Doing veneer treatment this way is exactly what can be called aesthetic veneer treatment.

Both lateral incisors are veneers.

The characteristics of natural teeth have been expressed very well.
