What Decides the Fee

What makes veneer fees differ?

Veneer prices vary between clinics for structural reasons. When comparing, look at these four things behind the number.

01

Ceramic & fabrication method

Milling a single ceramic block in a day and hand-layering four to five ceramic powders over several days differ in both material and hours. The difference in translucency is the difference in process.

02

Who makes it

Outsourced lab work and in-house fabrication have different cost structures. At Dream, the person who diagnosed you designs the shade and the shells are layered in our own lab.

03

Depth of diagnosis & design

Digital reduction planning to 0.01 mm, wax-ups, and try-ins all take time — and that time is what lowers the risk of revision later.

04

Your tooth condition

Degree of discoloration, prior veneers, and gum condition can change the scope of treatment. The exact figure is therefore confirmed after diagnosis.

By Tooth Count

Total cost by tooth count

Arithmetic examples of the disclosed KRW 1,300,000 per-tooth fee (VAT excluded). How many you actually need is itself a diagnostic question — consultations sometimes end with fewer.

CountTypical caseTotal (VAT excluded)
2 teeth A front-tooth gap or peg laterals KRW 2,600,000
4 teeth Unifying the four upper incisors KRW 5,200,000
6 teeth The full upper smile zone KRW 7,800,000
8 teeth A wide smile, designed to symmetry KRW 10,400,000

These are arithmetic examples of the disclosed fee; the actual count and total are confirmed after diagnosis.

Why Non-covered

Why does insurance not apply?

Aesthetic treatments such as veneers and whitening are not disease treatment, so Korean national health insurance does not cover them. Clinics set their own fees and are legally required — under Article 45 of the Medical Service Act — to disclose them, as on this page. Checking that the disclosed schedule matches what is actually charged is a basic test of any clinic.

Compare Fairly

What to check when comparing quotes

The same “one veneer” is not comparable if the scope differs. Ask these when collecting quotes.

  • Is VAT included or separate?
  • Are diagnosis, wax-up, and try-in included?
  • Single-ceramic one-day, or multilayer build-up?
  • Are provisionals billed separately (for minimal-prep cases)?
  • What are the repair and re-bonding terms if something goes wrong?
  • Is the fee schedule published, and does it match the actual bill?

FAQ

Fees — frequently asked questions

01 Why do veneer prices differ so much between clinics?

Ceramic type and fabrication method (one-day vs. multilayer build-up), who fabricates (outsourced vs. in-house), and the depth of diagnosis and design all differ. Compare the scope, not just the number.

02 Why is VAT charged separately?

Cosmetic-purpose dental care such as veneers and whitening is subject to Korean VAT, so 10% is added to the disclosed fee. It is a tax-law distinction from disease treatment — always check whether a quote includes VAT.

03 Can I get just two veneers — is that worth it?

Yes. Multilayer build-up is designed so even two veneers blend in unnoticed next to natural teeth. If diagnosis shows two are enough, two is what we recommend — we do not upsell tooth count.

04 Does revision cost more?

No. Refabricated veneers follow the same disclosed fee — KRW 1,300,000 per tooth, VAT excluded. Cases solved by repair or re-bonding after laser removal cost far less.

05 What if I combine whitening with veneers?

Teeth whitening is disclosed separately at KRW 550,000–880,000 (VAT excluded). We usually whiten first to set the target shade, then match the veneers to it — the combined plan is designed at consultation.

06 Are any treatments covered by national health insurance?

Yes. The fees on this page are non-covered items; disease-treatment care such as scaling, gum treatment, and root canals follows national insurance rules, where you pay only the co-payment. We confirm coverage and conditions per item at reception.

07 Why does whitening range from KRW 550,000 to 880,000?

The fee depends on the package — One-day (scaling + 2 laser cycles) KRW 550,000, Perfect (3 cycles) KRW 770,000, Premium (4 cycles) KRW 880,000, each VAT excluded. After diagnosing the cause of staining and your target brightness, we confirm the exact fee for the program you actually need.

08 Veneers and anterior all-ceramic crowns cost the same — how do I choose?

By remaining tooth structure, not price. A healthy tooth needing front-surface improvement points to the conservative veneer; a root-canal-treated or heavily damaged tooth points to a full-coverage crown. We start from the more conservative option.

09 Where does the gap between resin veneers (KRW 700,000) and ceramic veneers (KRW 1,300,000, VAT excluded) come from?

Material and process. Resin veneers finish same-day but can discolor and wear over time; ceramic veneers are hand-layered over several days in our in-house lab and hold their shade and translucency far longer. Compare them over their service life, not just the sticker.

010 Is cosmetic dental work tax-deductible in Korea?

Cosmetic-purpose treatment is in principle excluded from the year-end medical expense deduction, while disease-treatment care such as cavities and root canals qualifies and is reported automatically. Final judgment follows tax law.

011 What payment documentation do I receive?

Card slips and cash receipts are issued as standard, and you can take home a written summary of your treatment plan with the disclosed fee per item — so you can verify billed amounts against the published schedule at any time.

012 Could extra costs appear after the consult?

Once the treatment scope is confirmed, the total for that scope is quoted before anything begins. If new needs surface mid-treatment — hidden decay, for example — we always explain first and proceed only with your consent.

013 When were these fees set — can they change?

The fees on this page are as of 2026. When the schedule is revised, both the in-clinic and website disclosures are updated per Korean medical law, and the amount quoted when your treatment begins is what governs billing.

014 Do international patients pay the same fees?

Yes — disclosed fees apply identically regardless of nationality. For visitors from abroad we plan treatment around your itinerary, with English-language guidance and a WhatsApp consultation channel.

015 Why are certificate fees listed separately?

Korean medical law requires fees for medical certificates and reports to be disclosed as well — that is the certificates section of the table above. Documents for insurance claims can be requested directly at reception.

016 Can I get a total quote over the phone without an exam?

We can share the disclosed per-tooth fee (KRW 1,300,000, VAT excluded) and the arithmetic by count, but how many teeth you actually need — and any accompanying care — is a diagnostic question. Only a post-exam quote matches reality.

017 What if I add gum contouring or bleaching to veneers?

Disclosed fees simply add up — gum contouring KRW 120,000 per tooth, gum bleaching KRW 120,000 per tooth (as of 2026). Whether they are needed at all is a diagnostic question, and they enter the plan only when they are.
