Cheongdam Station Veneers: A Case Treated to Be More Even and Natural

Treatment that makes teeth beautiful is called tooth contouring.

There are two methods of tooth contouring: veneers and all-ceramic crowns.

You might think of veneers as the method that treats teeth while reducing them as little as possible.

Reducing the teeth a lot and changing the shape of the front teeth is, relatively speaking, an easy thing to do.

Causing less damage

is good for the health of the teeth,

and is also decisive for reducing side effects down the line,

and it improves the bonding strength of Cheongdam Station veneers, which also extends their lifespan.

The veneers we make are dramatically thin,

we can greatly reduce the amount of reduction needed.

The bite alignment is fairly good,

but it's not completely even,

and the lengths of the teeth are all different from one another.

There are also areas like this that have already been treated with resin.

Besides that, there was quite a lot of dark staining between the teeth,

and black triangles had also begun to form slightly.

In a case like this, the most important thing is diagnosis.

It's about setting a plan in advance for how to carry out treatment.

Through the process above,

you can see the problem that would arise with no-prep veneers,

which is that the teeth would become too much larger than they are now

and stick out further.

Given the relationship with the face, if the tooth size became larger than it is now,

it would be a case where an aesthetic problem would arise,

so we decided to do the minimum reduction needed to keep the current tooth size.

This is the state after the teeth were reduced.

All the areas treated with resin were removed,

and the reduction was carried out

so that enough enamel would remain on the teeth.

Now the veneers are fabricated in ceramic.
