Natural, Beautiful Gangnam Veneers!!
Hello. I'm Park Jonguk, DDS, MS, director of Lamista Academy and head doctor at Dream Dental Clinic.
A natural, beautiful smile isn't achieved by tooth shape alone.
True beauty is only complete when facial harmony, the translucency that comes alive in the light, and a careful diagnosis that respects each patient's individuality all come together.
Veneer treatment is an advanced procedure that restores both function and aesthetics at the same time,
and what matters most is the minimal-reduction philosophy of not removing more tooth structure than necessary.
Preserving a patient's precious teeth as much as possible while achieving natural beauty is the direction I have pursued for a long time,
and I have continued to refine this principle through clinical experience and my professional textbook.
In this space, based on the clinical and research journey I have walked,
I would like to share the world of natural veneers with you.
Lately, there are far too many veneers being made quickly, in bulk, and cheaply.
White, awkward, artificial-looking veneers tend to come out of a factory-like process.
Handmade veneers, crafted one by one with great care, look natural and beautiful,
and because they can also be made at the thinnest possible thickness, the amount of tooth reduction can be reduced as well.
Not all handmade veneers look this natural, however.
The clinic's philosophy behind making natural-looking veneers matters a great deal.
Once patients pass their 50s, teeth tend to wear down, the enamel wears away considerably, and the teeth turn yellow.
When aesthetic problems like this arise, veneers can be used to make the teeth beautiful again.
Rather than removing a lot of tooth structure, only a minimal amount of reduction is performed.
This is what the teeth look like after reduction is complete.
You probably won't notice much difference compared to the photo above.
The discoloration is removed, and only the truly necessary areas are reduced minutely.
Here, what is meant by "the truly necessary areas" is
that only the parts essential for making beautiful, natural veneers are reduced.
To achieve this, a precise diagnosis is more important than anything else.
Please refer to the link below for the detailed diagnostic process.
This is what the teeth look like after veneer treatment.
With only minimal reduction, it was possible to create veneers that look natural and full of life.
You can see that they look natural and beautiful from any angle.
At an age in the late 50s, the teeth become noticeably younger, producing an effect where the whole face looks more youthful as well.
This case involved poor tooth alignment along with wear-related changes in tooth shape, resulting in a variety of aesthetic problems.
Veneer treatment is performed to improve the aesthetics of the teeth.
You can see resin treatment has been done in several places.
Tooth reduction for the veneers is carried out.
The veneer treatment is complete, with a natural look that stands out.
