A Collection of Dream Dental Clinic's Veneer Before-and-After Comparisons, Part 2
Hello, I'm Dr. Park Jonguk, director of Dream Dental Clinic.
In the previous piece, I posted
before-and-after comparisons of veneers and all-ceramic crowns.
As mentioned in that piece,
this post simply gathers together
the before-and-after photos of various cases posted on my blog.
Case 1
The teeth were large, with a lot of staining,
and the shape was also poor, with a jug-like feel.
Through minimal reduction for veneers,
they were transformed into beautiful teeth.
The teeth were given even more three-dimensional quality
to make them look visually smaller,
and while the staining on the teeth was removed,
the translucency of a natural tooth was preserved.
Case 2
When an antibiotic called tetracycline
is overused at a young age,
the teeth end up darkened all over like this,
developing dark brown bands.
Without excessive reduction,
we used veneers to transform the teeth into bright, beautiful ones.
Case 3
These are before-and-after photos of veneer treatment for rabbit-like front teeth.
From a shape where just the two front teeth were far too large and jug-like,
they were changed into teeth with a better proportion to the surrounding teeth
and a brighter, clearer feel.
Case 4
This is a retreatment of an old, white, and simply unnatural-looking veneer.
While preserving as much of the basic anatomical shape
of a natural tooth as possible,
the bright feel of the teeth was well expressed.
The translucency of a tooth is, in a sense, a symbol of a youthful tooth.
This is a transformation into younger, more beautiful teeth.
Case 5
For teeth that were protruding and out of alignment,
we carried out a combination of minimal-prep and no-prep veneers.
The teeth became even
and even more beautiful.
Case 6
For teeth that were tilted and poorly aligned,
only one tooth was reduced,
and the other teeth received no-prep veneers.
The result was finished with bright, translucent, beautiful teeth.
