The wax-up created through the process above

needs to be tried on the teeth beforehand.

After gum contouring,

we use resin like this to mock up the teeth.

We need to check everything — the size and shape of the teeth, their volume, and their proportions.

In particular, since the teeth move outward from a retroclined position,

many patients find it uncomfortable at first,

so this step lets us check exactly how the lips and teeth will feel after treatment.

No-prep veneers made this way

use extremely thin ceramic.

It's a thickness that a same-day method simply cannot produce.

All the subtle characteristics of a natural tooth are captured within that thin ceramic.

Here, we placed the veneer on just half the tooth and took a photo.

You can see how much better the shape of the tooth becomes.

The translucency matches that of a natural tooth.

In fact, it's even more beautiful than an average natural tooth.

Achieving this range of expression in such thin ceramic

is really the heart of veneer treatment.
