This patient's teeth were genuinely quite large.

They were long, large, and even tilted.

First, we need to look at the proportions.

The photo on the left shows the tooth's width-to-height ratio.

It means that when the height is 100, the width is 71.

Considering that the average for Koreans falls between 75 and 85,

you can see that the tooth is far too long.

The photo on the right shows the ratio between teeth.

It means that when the width of the central incisor is 100, the width of the tooth right next to it — the lateral incisor — appears to be only 69.

Considering that this is usually around 75 to 80,

either the central incisor is too large, or the lateral incisor is too small.

The treatment proceeds by adjusting these proportions so the teeth appear smaller.

you can see a yellow tint that was added intentionally.

The ratio between teeth also improved from 69 to a near-average 74,

giving an appropriate size difference between the central and lateral incisors.

When the proportions improve like this,
