Hello.

I'm Dr. Park Jonguk, director of Lamista Academy and director of Dream Dental Clinic.

Lamista Academy is a seminar group established for correct veneer treatment.

Unlike other dental treatments,

veneer treatment is taught only in a fairly limited amount in dental school,

so it's often carried out without a dentist fully understanding the correct method.

In particular, because large clinics often put inexperienced dentists straight onto veneer treatment,

it can end up becoming a case of learning on the job through experience.

Drawing on nearly 20 years of research and study through veneer treatment in Apgujeong-dong,

and ahead of the publication of Korea's first dedicated veneer clinical textbook,

I founded Lamista Academy and have been running veneer education programs.

I'll do my best to help as many dentists as possible practice correct veneer treatment.

The veneer we aim to teach

is a veneer that is both natural and beautiful.

The hallmarks of a natural tooth are its varied color, three-dimensional quality, and translucency.

Our goal is to teach veneer techniques that can express these elements well.

As one-day veneers, made factory-style at large clinics, have become widespread recently,

this kind of awkward, artificial-looking veneer treatment has been increasing.

Even some dentists have come to see this as simply the limit of what veneers can achieve.

What's worse is that some clinics occasionally claim, "what we do isn't veneers, it's a different treatment,"

advertising as if they had their own exclusive material or method,

and some even claim this kind of treatment "strengthens" the tooth.

Even dentists sometimes get taken in by this kind of advertising,

so through a more accurate understanding of the treatment,

we also discuss together what's wrong with this kind of advertising.

Lamista Academy runs veneer education on a regular basis.

From the diagnostic process for veneer treatment through to post-treatment care,

we teach everything about veneer treatment,

and through hands-on training, we make sure there's nothing lacking for participants to start treating patients right after the course.
