A Clinic Skilled in Natural Front Veneer Treatment

I'm always thinking about

how teeth can be made even more beautiful.

Retreatment on teeth that have already been treated before, in particular,

always brings new challenges.

First of all, the condition of the tooth is often poor.

The tooth may have already had root canal treatment and darkened as a result,

or it may be a veneer case where so much of the tooth was already removed

that there's a risk of needing root canal treatment,

among various other issues.

Working through these issues while carrying out front veneer treatment

is something I think depends above all on extensive experience.

Since the tooth had already had root canal treatment, its color had darkened to almost black,

while the all-ceramic crown was far too white.

The colors may not have matched from the very start,

or the natural tooth may have stained and darkened over time,

while the all-ceramic crown, which doesn't discolor, stayed the same.

While redoing the all-ceramic crown,

we decided to also carry out veneer treatment on the other teeth.

First, a diagnosis of the current condition is carried out.

The diagnostic process is explained in the link above.

The current proportions of the teeth are measured, and based on this,

what changes need to be made,

and, to achieve that, exactly which teeth or areas need to be reduced and by how much

are all worked out in a precise plan beforehand,

which is then discussed with the patient in detail.

Since there were already gaps between the teeth,

those areas needed to be refined as well.

This process of previewing the outcome in wax

is called precision wax-up diagnosis.

The veneer treatment has been completed.

The teeth turned out bright and clear.

In particular, the discolored tooth was well covered, giving a natural color throughout.

In terms of the shape of the veneered teeth as well,

a natural sense of dimension was preserved,

so they look natural from any angle.

Harmony with the gums also matters a great deal.
